Unleash your earning capacity with an EWP+11m course
July 31, 2017The one-day course that could save your life
September 1, 2017Are you working in the building and construction industry and looking to upskill?
If you’ve been reluctant to do more training because of the costs – now’s the time to seriously consider the extra course you’ve always wanted to do, or to get another ticket under your belt.
That’s because if you are a member of the Building Employees Redundancy Trust (BERT), you may be eligible to receive a training subsidy for construction related training courses.
That’s right – any BERT member that meets the BERT Training Fund eligibility criteria can apply for funds to subsidise training costs for a number of accredited courses!
The criteria specifies that the funding is only applicable for accredited training delivered by a registered training organisation (RTO), and it goes on to indicate examples of courses that it covers.
Elevated Training is a reputable registered training organisation (RTO) based in southeast Queensland.
We deliver a range of nationally recognised courses – a number of which, are also indicated as eligible courses through the training fund.
These include:
- Backhoe
- Confined Space
- Elevated Working Platforms (Boom Lift)
- Forklift
- Plant Operating (Bobcat, Forklift, Excavator, Roller)
- Working at Heights
We have a personalised and practical approach to training, and have a live worksite for students to gain hands on experience operating the machinery.
After your training is complete it’s as easy as sending BERT a copy your invoice from Elevated Training, a copy of your statement of attainment and your bank details.
BERT members are fortunate to have this training fund made available to them, because it allows them to upskill and become more employable for future roles, or potentially earn a better wage.
Completing a short course with Elevated Training enables you to fulfil new roles that come hand in hand with the line of work you already do, or those you want to expand into.
To get formally qualified with a new industry licence, view the full list of our training courses here, and if you’re a BERT member – apply for the training fund here.
