This course will provide the necessary skills for entering and working in confined spaces in resources and infrastructure industries. Training will include planning and preparing for entry of confined spaces, entry and working in confined spaces, exiting confined spaces and cleaning up. You will learn to:

• - Plan and prepare for entering and working in confined spaces
• - Enter and exit confined spaces
• - Clean up work area

From this course you will obtain the skills and knowledge required to operate an elevating work platform in the resources and infrastructure Industries.

You will also gain a High Risk Work license, which may aid you in acquiring a number of other qualifications. This potentially opens you up to the possibility of a higher salary as a high risk work operator.

In addition to the training for a LF licence, this course specifies the skills and knowledge required to operate an order picking forklift where the operator controls are incorporated with the lifting media and elevate with the lifting media. A person performing this work is also required to hold an order picking forklift truck high risk work (HRW) licence.  You will learn to:

• Plan work and conduct routine checks
• Shift load
• Shut down and secure forklift

You will also gain a High Risk Work licence in the process of carrying out this course, which may make you better equipped and more qualified for future opportunities.
