There was a time where forklift licences were a lifetime ticket – you do the training and logbook hours when starting out and that was it – you were all set for the rest of your working life.

However, in recent years the rules have changed.

Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) now require forklift tickets to be renewed every five years.

Operating machinery in the workplace without a ticket means you are failing to comply with regulations and could see you facing a hefty fine of up to $20,000.

But keep in mind; these regulations have been put into place to ensure the utmost safety for you and your co-workers.

Refresher training ensures that your skills and knowledge is sound and up to date, and that you are still capable to use the machinery without causing any risk to the people on your worksite.

If you have an LO or LF forklift ticket that is about to expire, or has recently expired, you don’t have to start from scratch with a full forklift training course to regain your licence.

In fact, with Elevated Training are able to use your previous experience operating the machinery to fast track your training so you can get fully accredited and back onsite in no time.

New workers obtaining LF or LO tickets ordinarily participate in a 3-day training course.

However, with your recognised prior learning (RPL) at play, we can run you through all of the necessary licensing requirements in a brief four-hour session.

The half-day course helps to remind you of the fundamental skills and experience you already have and fast-tracks your training so you can avoid disrupting your routine work.

Elevated Training has experienced trainers and assessors that specialise in a wide range of vocational training and log book needs for forklift tickets, EWP licences and more.
